Crestbridge has announced the appointment of Siân Dalrymple as Group Chief Risk Officer.
Siân will be responsible for the oversight and enhancement of Crestbridge’s risk function and the development of its risk management services platform for its global client base.
Siân brings to the role vast experience and a proven track record in leading the compliance and risk functions for large, multi-national and stock-exchange listed organisations globally.
Prior to joining Crestbridge, Siân was Executive Vice President, Group Head of Compliance and Group MLRO, and a member of the Executive Committee at The Bank of N.T. Butterfield & Son Limited (“Butterfield”) for four years before leaving to study for an MBA with Edinburgh Business School. During her time at Butterfield, Siân developed the Group’s centres of compliance excellence across the world, growing her team of 24 industry professionals when she joined, to 65 at its peak.
Prior to that, Siân was a Managing Director at Deutsche Bank A.G., latterly responsible for the compliance oversight of all product lines and 180 staff in 16 countries across the Bank’s Asia-Pacific operations. Over a decade Siân implemented several large-scale compliance initiatives at Deutsche Bank and in 2013 was selected to join the ATLAS programme (Accomplished Top Leaders Advancement Strategy) for top female Managing Directors. In addition to these roles, Siân also worked in compliance roles for companies including Bank of America, ABN AMRO N.V., J. Henry Schroder & Co. (now Citi), Société Générale and Guinness Mahon (now Investec).
