Jess Sumner, an Assistant Manager in BWCI’s pensions actuarial team, has passed all of the exams required to qualify as an actuary.
Jess joined BWCI in 2014 after graduating with a Masters degree in Mathematics from the University of Leeds. As well as studying for the actuarial exams, Jess is a member of the BWCI Bandits touch rugby team.
BWCI’s study coordinator, Matt Stanbury, said: “Jess’s qualification brings the total number of actuaries at BWCI to 17, over 75% of whom have completed their actuarial studies through our inhouse training programme.”
Jess said: “I am excited to have finally finished all the exams required to qualify as an Actuary. At times I thought I was never going to get through them all but I am glad I stuck at it.”
