Ravenscroft has promoted Tristan Brown to the role of Group Financial Controller.
Tristan joined the financial services company in January 2019 as Financial Controller and in his new role will manage the finances of the group, which has offices in Guernsey, Jersey, the Isle of Man and the UK.
Mark Bousfield, Group Managing Director, explained to Channel Eye: “Ravenscroft has changed considerably in the time Tristan has been with us. We have made acquisitions in the UK and the Isle of Man, increased the number of offices and staff and our assets of under management has grown from £6.41bn to £7.75bn. Tristan has proved himself to be a valuable member of the finance team and an extremely capable financial controller, so it was a natural progression for him to take on the role”.
In his new role, Tristan, who qualified as an accountant in 2017, will manage the finance team, prepare the group annual and interim reports, budgeting and cash flow forecasting and have oversight of the monthly reporting.
Tristan said: “The size of the group and range of services that Ravenscroft now offers makes this a challenging but very rewarding role, but it’s a fantastic opportunity”.
“One of my first projects was to update the group’s annual report and I aim to carry on enhancing these so that our shareholders, and others with an interest in Ravenscroft’s success are kept well informed. As the group continues to grow, we are always looking at ways we can improve the way we work. It’s a great team to be in and I’m looking forward to the work that lies ahead.”
Outside of work Tristan plays football for Rocquaine Pirates and is a keen cyclist. Last month, he was part of Ravenscroft’s team in the 30/30 cycle challenge with the company raising more than £7,000 for Les Bourgs Hospice.
