Brooks Macdonald International has made a double promotion in its Guernsey office as it continues to strengthen its pan-Channel Islands investment team.
Ben Chandler has been made Investment Director and Andy Alford has been promoted to Senior Investment Manager.
Having joined Brooks Macdonald in in 2017, Ben has more than 21 years’ experience in financial services and is responsible for the management of discretionary portfolios on behalf of a number of Brooks Macdonald’s fiduciary, institutional and private clients.
With investment management and research experience, Ben currently Co-Heads the International Multi Asset Class (MAC) Strategy committee. He also co-heads the recently acquired (through the Lloyds acquisition) Multi Strategy Fund range. Ben holds the Certificate in Private Client Investment Advice & Management (PCIAM) and is also a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI).
Andy, who has over 15 year’s financial services experience, joined Brooks Macdonald in 2016 and is responsible for managing discretionary private client and institutional money. Prior to joining Brooks Macdonald, he worked at Credit Suisse, where he was responsible for execution dealing across a wide range of asset classes as well as FX and Money Market trading.
Using his investment management and research experience, Andy is both the Head of the International Stocks Team and leads the Direct Equity Strategy Team. Andy holds the Investment Management Certificate (IMC) and the CISI level 6 Certificate in Private Client Investment Advice & Management and is also a member of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI).
