A Jersey-based PA has joined the committee of the national professional body for executive and personal assistants.
Nikki Holland founded the PA Network in Jersey and now joins the the Executive & Personal Assistants Association (EPAA) to help shape the future of the profession, raise its profile and be a voice for PAs across the British Isles.
Nikki was most recently the PA to a former Senior Partner at PwC in Jersey.
She founded the Jersey PA Network to encourage the local PA community to get together and collaborate more and has successfully organised workshops, social events and forums in the island since launching in June 2016.
Nikki said: “Firmly establishing a PA Network in Jersey has been one of my personal goals for some time now and it makes me very proud to see all the hard work behind the scenes finally come to fruition over the past year. I’m genuinely privileged to have been approached by the EPAA to join the committee and hope that my can-do attitude and passion for improving the working lives of PAs, and those they support, will help take the EPAA from strength to strength over the coming years.”
Commenting on Nikki’s appointment, Chair of the EPAA committee, Victoria Darragh, said: “We’re really excited about welcoming Nikki on board. Her diplomatic skills and her natural affinity for cultivating relationships will be a real asset to the committee.
She brings a wealth of exceptional qualities, experience and skills to the table and I’m fully confident that Nikki will help steer the EPAA to even greater success in the future.”
The next event that Nikki has organised in Jersey takes place on 8 March to coincide with International Women’s Day and includes a panel of women including Dr Tess Hartmann, Catherine Best, Emma Martin, Lauren Burnett, as well as event sponsor PwC’s Lisa McClure and Leyla Yildirim.
