Crestbridge has announced the appointment of Girisanthan (Giri) Kathiravelu as Head of Client Accounting as it continues to bolster its financial reporting and regulatory services platform for global alternative fund managers.
Giri will lead the team supporting Crestbridge’s alternative asset manager client base across a broad range of reporting and regulatory areas, including accounting and investor reporting.
Joining Crestbridge from a large global administrator in London, Giri has more than two decades of experience working across multiple jurisdictions including the UK, US, Singapore, Caribbean and the Channel Islands, and across a wide spectrum of fund types and structures, including buyout funds, debit/credit funds, fund of funds, infrastructure and property funds.
In particular, he has developed specialist expertise and knowledge in major regulatory and reporting mechanisms, principles and standards, including the IFRS US, UK and Luxembourg GAAP, the LPA, Invest Europe, the BVCA and the ILPA.
Giri is a qualified Chartered Accountant and is also an associate member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka.
