In her new role Shalini is responsible for the planning and execution of a range of complex digital analytics systems, campaign measurements and user experience research.
She will also work on individual analysis projects which will allow clients of the Jersey based agency to improve the performance of digital campaigns and effectively measure return on investment of marketing activity.
Having previously worked as a web developer and digital marketer at one of the island’s most successful Fintech businesses, Shalini has a background in this sector, which is recognised as a high-growth area.
An increasing number of start-ups and relocations are predicted to be established on-island over the coming months, all of which will require the specialist digital support and skills that Shalini and the Switch team can provide.
Already highly qualified within her field, Shalini recently achieved a number of Google accreditations covering digital analytics, search marketing and display advertising.
Along with these qualifications Shalini also completed refresher training prior to joining Switch, including a web development and digital marketing course run by Digital Jersey.
Commenting on Shalini’s appointment Nathan Nicholls, Digital Director at Switch said: “We’re delighted to welcome Shalini to the team, she brings strong technical digital marketing, analytics and development skills, all of which are in high-demand across client and agency teams on the island”.
