Independent fund and corporate services provider, the Aztec Group, has announced 137 promotions across the business.
This latest round of promotions brings the total number of people promoted during the last year to more than 220. Effective from 1 January, promotions have been made across all of the Group’s offices.
There have been three senior promotions to the Group’s leadership team in the Channel Islands:
In the Group’s Guernsey office, Chris Copperwaite has been promoted to Associate Director. A specialist in the administration of listed funds, Chris joined the Group in 2016 and has played a central role in the continued development and success of its listed fund offering. Chris’ new role will see him continuing to lead the Group’s dedicated listed funds team while actively growing the client base in this sector.
Chris Wills has been promoted to Associate Director in the Jersey Private Equity team. Joining in 2015, he has been pivotal in growing the team that serves one of the Group’s largest clients, and now leads a team overseeing a diverse range of funds at varying stages in their life cycle. Chris is heavily involved in reviewing and developing the Private Equity team’s control environment, and works closely with clients operating in the secondaries market.
In the marketing team, Paul Aubert has been promoted to Associate Director. Paul joined the Group’s Jersey office in 2016 and has played a key role in developing and solidifying the Group’s commercial marketing strategy, working with business development and client-focused teams to underpin this strategy with a robust client proposition. He previously held a senior marketing position at a global bank, and is a Chartered Company Secretary.
