Grant Thornton Channel Islands is investing in its people by promoting three members of staff to senior positions. Melinda Sunley has been promoted as the company’s new Head of People and Culture, while Donna Wagstaff (pictured) takes up the role of Senior Manager Business Advisory in the Jersey office and Liz Hawke has been appointed Senior Tax Manager in Guernsey.
These promotions reflect Grant Thornton’s continued growth in the Channel Islands and investment in its team and client services.
Melinda Sunley has a wealth of experience from working in the financial services and professional services sectors for more than 15 years. Melinda has a proven track record of developing and implementing people and culture strategies that adds value to businesses. She will be primarily focused on strategic recruitment, training and personal development for the 140 employees at Grant Thornton.
Donna Wagstaff has 35 years’ experience in accounts, tax and company secretarial services and will draw on her expertise to support local businesses to find innovative solutions to their accounting needs.
Liz Hawke has worked for Grant Thornton for more than a decade and is a Chartered Tax Adviser and a member of the Association of Taxation Technicians. She has specialist knowledge of Guernsey and UK personal and company tax matters. Liz works with a range of clients that includes large corporate groups, trust companies, local businesses and high net worth individuals.
