Guests at two of Jersey’s top hotels will be waking up to an indulgent treat next Tuesday.
To celebrate National Prosecco Day on 13 August, the AA Five Star Grand Jersey Hotel & Spa and the AA Four Red Star L’Horizon Beach Hotel & Spa will be serving a fabulous glass of fizz with breakfast for an extra indulgent start to the day.
The team members will be offering a chilled glass of Valobbiadene 2017, an Italian prosecco which combines delicate aromas and flavours of honeysuckle and pears with fine bubbles. Guests can also choose to have a Buck’s Fizz, a glass of prosecco served with freshly squeezed orange juice if they prefer.
Commenting on the Italian treat, Simon Miller, General Manager of Hand Picked Hotels Jersey said: “Prosecco hails from the Veneto region of north-eastern Italy but it has definitely taken the UK by storm. The British apparently drink more of it than anywhere else in the world! We hope our guests will raise a glass and enjoy celebrating National Prosecco Day with us on Tuesday!”
