Jersey law firm, Ingram Advocates, has announced that Danny Le Maistre has joined the firm as a partner. He will head up the Ingram’s commercial litigation and insolvency practice.
Danny is an Advocate of the Royal Court and has been practising in Jersey for nearly 18 years. Before joining Ingram Advocates, he was a partner at a top ten offshore law firm. He undertakes a wide range of commercial litigation matters specialising in contentious trusts, professional negligence and fraud-related claims and claims against directors. He also has experience in insolvency and regulatory matters both in a contentious and non-contentious context.
He has considerable advocacy experience having appeared in numerous noteworthy trials and cases in the Royal Court and the Court of Appeal.
Danny was called to the Bar of England and Wales in 2001 and to the Jersey Bar in 2004. He spent a year working in the Cayman Islands in 2008 and was admitted as an Attorney-at-Law. He was named Lawyer of the Year for contentious trusts at the Citywealth Future Leaders Awards in 2017. In the most recent edition of the Legal 500, he was noted as being ‘very bright and impressive.’
