Global wealth management company, The Blacktower Group, together with Nova Wealth Limited today announces the launch of its joint venture Discretionary Fund Management Service, Nexus Portfolio Management Limited (NPML).
NPML is aimed to complement Blacktower Group’s existing SICAV range of funds and is a further step towards consolidating the brand’s move towards a fully integrated business model and expand its worldwide market positioning.
NPML is a boutique offshore investment manager, focusing on capital preservation and long-term capital growth for its client base through discretionary multi-asset, multi-manager portfolios and, where appropriate, bespoke direct security investment solutions.
The business is founded by John Westwood, Managing Director of The Blacktower Group together with Ross Preston, Managing Director of Nova Wealth Limited, which is an independent, multi-jurisdictional discretionary manager headquartered in Guernsey. With a longstanding relationship dating back to early in their careers, Westwood and Preston sport an impressive combined 50 years in financial services and wealth planning.
Due to the expansion of both Blacktower Group and Nova Wealth Limited as independent businesses, as well as the development of the private client wealth management marketplace, both believe that 2020 is the right time to launch this joint venture.
