Louise Bracken-Smith, CEO of Fairway Group, has won gold for Woman of the Year, Business Growth (mid-size) at a ceremony in London. The group was shortlisted for four awards in total.

The seventh annual Powerwomen Awards champions women in the wealth sector and highlights the female leaders of today and tomorrow.

The award comes as Fairway Group looks to celebrate the 20th anniversary since it was formed in November 2000.

Co-founder Louise, who attended the event in Marble Arch, London, said: “I was surprised but delighted to hear my name read out from a category of such amazing talent.”

“The event shows the level of female talent in Jersey and international finance at the moment. We’ve very proud of our record of diversity and inclusion at Fairway Group and this award is a testament to that as we continue to grow.”
