A deep dive into Artificial Intelligence will launch the Jersey Institute of Directors Innovation Series in January 2020.
The Innovation Series is a brand new format being delivered by IoD Jersey with support from lead sponsor JT. Four pioneering, technology focused events will be run throughout the year to inform, educate and develop knowledge of this transformative area of business.
The first breakfast seminar in the Series will take place on Tuesday 14 January at The Royal Yacht. The event is being led by Chair of the IoD Jersey Technology Sub Committee, David Brown, and is entitled: ‘There Is Nothing Artificial About Intelligence’.
David will take the audience through a brief history of robotics and human augmented processes across a wide range of disciplines, from finance, to government, to the sky and back. He will discuss how the technology is deployed and the benefits it can bring. With over 30 years of experience in automation covering testing, application transfer, cleansing, and on demand automation, he will explore how we can make good use of such designs and how we still have some things to learn.

The event will begin at 7.45am with breakfast rolls and networking, followed by the presentation at 8.10am and a Q & A session at 8.45am until close at 9am.
