Butterfield was the proud Sapphire Sponsor of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) Annual Ball in Guernsey on 18 October at Beau Sejour.
STEP Guernsey is the local branch of STEP Worldwide, the global professional association for trust practitioners who specialise in helping families plan for their futures. STEP requires its members to maintain professional standards and keep up-to-date with the latest legal, technical and regulatory developments.
This is achieved through STEP’s training and development programmes and continuing professional development opportunities. STEP Guernsey hosts a number of such events throughout the year; its popular lecture series and annual conference helping practitioners stay abreast of industry hot topics. These and the annual ball, as well as regular social events are aimed at members, students and the wider finance community.
The STEP Guernsey Annual Ball is a popular fixture in the island’s calendar of events for the financial services industry. This year, although organisers doubled the venue size for the Classic Hollywood themed event it was sold out, a testament to STEP’s broad reach across the island. The showstopping event saw the glamour and charm of old Hollywood out in force.
