The Ian Brown’s Cycle Shop 30 Rides in 30 Days will take place for the seventeenth year this year.
Participants will pledge to cycle for one hour each day for thirty consecutive days. The First day will be Saturday 27th April when riders will get together for their first time in their distinct 2024 30/30 cycling jerseys for a ‘First Day Breakfast’ at The Kiln, Oatlands.
The event has been a major fundraiser for Les Bourgs Hospice and reached a grand total of one million pounds in 2022. A further £46,200 was raised by eighty-four riders in 2023.
Specsavers will be supporting the event for a third year in a row, both financially and with participants. Both Nick James and Simon Hancock will be taking part again with over 20 years participating between them.
Rob Jones, who has recently taken on the role of CEO at les Bourgs, is also taking part for the first time and will be seen riding his Brompton Folding Bicycle for one hour each day.
For 2024 the organisers will invite up to twenty corporate teams of four to participate. Each team of four will have a fundraising target of £900 or more.
Anyone wishing to take part can register from 16th January 2024 here.
