Condor has been forced to cancel high speed sailings on Friday 02 October 2020 due to the effects of Storm
Alex and is placing other services for this weekend under review.
With predicted wind speeds of 57 knots and wave heights of 3.5m in the Channel Islands’ area, which are outside safe berthing limits, the company has cancelled high speed services on Friday 02 October between Poole, Guernsey and Jersey and from St Malo to Jersey.
Condor’s customer contact centre and port teams are notifying passengers of the cancellations and offering alternatives where space is available.
The passenger schedules affected on Friday are the 12:10 departure from Poole to Guernsey and on to Jersey and the St Malo to Jersey sailing at 07:45.
Further disruption to services is anticipated to passenger and freight services over this weekend until Storm Alex has passed through the Islands early next week
