Due to Covid-19 restrictions and a greatly reduced number of passengers, many travel companies are cutting-back or suspending services. In the UK, National Express have suspended all bus and coach journeys until March, whilst closer to home, we have seen Condor reduce and tighten up its services.
Now easyJet is cutting back its operations to just ‘essential connectivity’ between key UK cities and select international routes.
Existing operations will run up to and including 10th January, to enable passengers to return home, after which the airline will put in place a new schedule consisting of reduced domestic services from London, Bristol, Birmingham, Liverpool, Newcastle, Belfast and Scotland as well a ‘small number’ of European destinations.
All easyJet flights to and from Jersey have been suspended from their Spring schedule.
British Airways has also changed their schedule, only operating flights to/from Jersey at weekends.
