Systems Engineer
Our client is looking for a skilled Systems Engineer to join their team and support their IT infrastructure.
The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Microsoft platforms, networking, and virtualization, combined with a proactive attitude toward continuous learning and development.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Microsoft platforms, both internal and cloud, with a focus on corporate environments.
- Oversee and troubleshoot systems related to Networking, Security, WAN technology, and ‘As A Service’ Cloud platforms.
- Ensure the smooth operation of virtualized environments and other IT systems.
- Collaborate with team members, participate in knowledge-sharing workshops, and enhance the team’s technical expertise.
- Operate autonomously while managing tasks and delivering high-quality results.
- Stay updated with the latest technologies by undertaking relevant training and certifications.
- Provide after-hours support when required to maintain business continuity.
Knowledge, skills and experience required
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Systems Engineer or similar technical support role.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft platforms and corporate IT environments.
- Knowledge of networking, security, virtualization, and cloud technologies.
- Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Full driving license required.

Candidates holding or working toward the following certifications will be prioritized:
- Microsoft MCSE: Core Infrastructure / Productivity
- Cisco CCNA / CCNP
- Juniper JNCP
- VMware DCT / CMA / NV
- CompTIA Linux
