Senior Finance Manager for pensions and trust

An independent provider of corporate, private client and retirement planning services is looking to hire a finance manager in Guernsey.

Reporting to the Group CFO, the successful candidate will be responsible for a jurisdiction fundamental to the Group’s profitability, three-year plan and revenue in excess of £4m.

Receive services from the company’s shared service centre in Mauritius and provide feedback on their delivery as appropriate as well as develop remote support in Dubai. Be accountable for all financial duties. Set local targets, budgets and forecasts. Support the local board (with your team) to create and maintain their financial plans, with a strong commercial focus and mindset. Deliver sales and purchase ledgers.

To be suitable for this role, you will be comfortable communicating with external parties and deliver all regulatory requirements associated with finance. Be comfortable challenging as and when appropriate and deliver all management information to the relevant teams in a timely and proactive manner which you will clearly articulate locally and at Group level. Professionally qualified accountant (CPA/CIMA/ACCA/ACA preferred) or qualified by experience.
