
Head of Digital Marketing
Our client is looking for a highly skilled and hands-on digital marketing expert to lead their digital strategy.
This role is suited for someone with a deep technical understanding of digital channels, performance marketing, and data-driven strategies, rather than a traditional marketing generalist.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive digital marketing strategy across multiple channels (SEO, PPC, paid social, email marketing, programmatic, etc.).
- Own performance marketing – driving traffic, lead generation, and conversions through data-driven decision-making.
- Oversee digital campaigns end-to-end, including setup, execution, optimisation, and reporting.
- Implement and manage digital tools (Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads, GA4, marketing automation, etc.).
- Optimise website performance through CRO, UX improvements, and SEO best practices.
- Leverage data & analytics to track KPIs, measure ROI, and provide actionable insights.
- Manage paid media budgets effectively, ensuring maximum ROI across campaigns.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest digital marketing trends, tools, and innovations.
- Work closely with content, creative, and development teams to align digital initiatives with business objectives.
Requirements and skills
- Proven hands-on experience in digital marketing strategy and execution (not just overseeing agencies or teams).
- Expert knowledge of digital channels including SEO, SEM, PPC, paid social, email marketing, and analytics.
- Strong technical expertise in Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads, GA4, Tag Manager, and automation platforms.
- Experience managing digital budgets and performance metrics.
- Ability to analyse and interpret data, with a results-driven mindset.
- Strong understanding of website performance, UX, CRO, and A/B testing.
- Previous experience in a technical digital marketing leadership role.
