Change Analyst

We are seeking a proactive Change Analyst to join our Change Management team at Skipton International Limited (SIL). This role involves assisting the Senior Programme Manager in delivering strategic change programmes and organisational transformation.

The Change Analyst will contribute to the effective implementation of change initiatives by managing both the technology and human aspects of change, encouraging stakeholder engagement, and promoting a culture of adaptability and continuous improvement.

Key accountabilities

  • Project Delivery: Assist in delivering projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with business strategies and objectives. Support project planning, execution, and delivery to ensure milestones are met. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.
  • Requirements Documentation: Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date documentation of business requirements and change initiatives. Ensure documentation is accessible and understandable for all relevant stakeholders.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance: Assist in executing thorough testing and quality assurance before deployment. Support the development of test plans and scenarios to validate changes.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Conduct regular stakeholder meetings and updates. Address stakeholder concerns and feedback promptly.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for improvement through analysis and stakeholder feedback. Support the implementation of continuous improvement changes and promote a culture of continuous improvement within the organisation.
  • Change Governance: Assist with change governance reporting, ensuring reports are accurate, timely, and provide actionable insights. Maintain comprehensive documentation for projects and initiatives in accordance with the change management framework.
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with change projects. Monitor and report on risk status throughout the project lifecycle.
  • External Relationships: Manage relationships with external partners and suppliers. Collaborate with external bodies to identify and implement best practices.

Essential requirements

  • Strong grades at GCSE, A Level, or equivalent.
  • Degree level or similar professional certification in Change Management or a related field would be preferrable.
  • Good communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
  • Basic understanding of change management techniques and methodologies, including agile practices.
  • Awareness of change delivery techniques and best practices.
  • Some experience or internships in supporting change initiatives within a business environment.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills.
  • Good stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in using change management tools and software.
  • Good understanding of industry best practices in change delivery.
