SUMMARY:Santa Dash
DESCRIPTION:Santa Dash is back this December but with a twist – a new route.\nThis time, our dashers will set off from West’s Centre in St Helier, bringing their festive cheer through King Street, around to Broad Street, and finish back at West’s Centre with mince pies and medals.\nIndividuals, friends, colleagues, and families are all welcome to sign up. The route is about a mile long and open to all abilities. Rather than winning it’s all about taking part – so you can run, jog, scoot, or walk the course – you decide!\nMarina Brockbank, who organises the event, said: “We’re really excited about the new route for this year’s Santa Dash. By bringing the event through the heart of town, we hope it creates an even bigger festive atmosphere and allows more people to join in the fun.\n“There’s something truly special about seeing hundreds of Santas running through King Street, spreading Christmas cheer while supporting Jersey Hospice Care.”\nSanta suits will be provided as part of your registration fee, but all festive fancy dress is welcome, so get creative!\nNicola Carroll, CSR Manager at Ogier, which is sponsoring the Santa Dash for the third consecutive year, said: “We’re delighted to continue supporting Jersey Hospice Care’s Santa Dash. It’s become a real festive favourite with our colleagues, and we’re looking forward to getting suited and booted once again and joining hundreds of Santas through the heart of St Helier. Most importantly, it’s a brilliant way to have some festive fun while raising vital funds for Jersey’s only hospice.”\n
