DESCRIPTION:As awareness continues to grow around the impact menopause has on women’s health, wellbeing and daily lives, House of Champions is bringing the conversation into the open with a new event designed to tackle the topics many women are still reluctant to discuss.\nTaking place on Thursday 15 October, during Menopause Awareness Month, Menopause After Hours will offer a safe, supportive and refreshingly honest space for women to ask questions, share experiences and hear practical advice from leading local experts.\nHosted by House of Champions in partnership with Vitality40plus, the interactive evening will explore the realities of menopause and perimenopause, covering everything from brain fog, sleep disruption and exhaustion to libido, relationships, confidence and identity.\nThe event has been created in response to a growing recognition that while menopause affects half the population, many women still feel isolated by their symptoms or unsure where to find trustworthy information and support.\nUnlike a traditional seminar, there will be opportunities for attendees to submit questions privately, helping to remove the embarrassment and stigma that can often surround menopause discussions.\nExpert panel\nThe event will feature an experienced panel of local specialists:\n\nAgatha Penney, Psychosexual &amp; Relationship Psychotherapist and Clinical Supervisor\nDr Jess Langtree-Marsh, GP with a special interest in Women’s Health\nTrudi Roscouet, Women’s Health Advocate, Menopause Wellbeing Coach and founder of Vitality40plus\n\nTogether, the panel will offer evidence-based information, practical advice and an open discussion about the physical, emotional and relationship challenges that can accompany menopause.\nTrudi Roscouet said: “Menopause is something every woman will experience, yet many still feel embarrassed to talk about what they’re going through.\n“Menopause Awareness Month is the perfect time to encourage more honest conversations, challenge myths and help women realise they don’t have to struggle on their own. This event is about creating a supportive space where nothing is off limits, and no question is too awkward.”\n
