DESCRIPTION:Jersey’s business leaders will have the opportunity to hear directly from ministers about their priorities for the Island’s future at the IoD Jersey Leaders’ Lunch sponsored by Skipton International on Wednesday, 4 November 2026.\nHosted by IoD Jersey Chair Alex Ruddy, the exclusive event will bring together directors, business leaders and government representatives for a panel discussion on the priorities for Jersey’s economy and business community in the coming term.\nThe panel will feature:\n\nDeputy Gerald Voisin, Minister for Sustainable Economic Development\nSenator Elaine Millar, Minister for Social Security\nSenator Alan Maclean, Minister for Treasury and Resources\nSenator Sir Mark Boleat, Minister for Planning and Regulation\n\nTogether, the panel will explore the Government’s priorities and how these align with the recommendations set out in the joint election manifesto developed by IoD Jersey and the Jersey Chamber of Commerce.\nThe discussion will focus on the issues that matter most to Jersey’s business community, including supporting long-term economic growth and prosperity, improving productivity and competitiveness, creating the conditions for business success, strengthening collaboration between government and industry, and addressing the opportunities and challenges facing the Island.\nAlex Ruddy, Chair of IoD Jersey, said: “This Leaders’ Lunch will provide an important opportunity for Jersey’s directors and business leaders to hear directly from ministers about their priorities and vision for the Island.
