SUMMARY:Revenue Jersey Community Helpdesk – St Clement
DESCRIPTION:Islanders are being encouraged to take advantage of a series of Revenue Jersey Community Helpdesks taking place across the Island this summer and autumn.\nThe helpdesks offer free, face-to-face support from experienced Revenue Officers and are designed to make it easier for Islanders to get help with their tax affairs closer to home. The initiative was first launched in 2022 and expanded following positive feedback from Islanders who valued the opportunity to discuss tax matters confidentially without needing to travel to St Helier.\nWhether you’re new to Jersey tax, have experienced a change in circumstances, want to understand Independent Taxation joint filing, or need help with Prior Year Basis payment options, the Revenue Jersey team will be available to answer questions and provide guidance.\nThe Community Helpdesk team will include experienced Revenue Officers with secure access to Jersey’s digital revenue management system, allowing many personal tax queries to be resolved during the visit. Islanders should bring valid photo identification if they wish to discuss their personal tax affairs.\nRichard Summersgill, Comptroller of Revenue, said: “The Community Helpdesks are about making it easier for Islanders to access support and get answers to their tax questions.\n“Whether you need help understanding a recent change, want to discuss your tax position, or simply have a question you’d like to ask in person, we would encourage you to come along and speak to the team.”\nThe helpdesks will be open from 9.30am to 4pm on the following dates:\n\nSt Ouen Parish Hall – 7 August\nSt John Parish Hall – 18 August\nSt Martin’s Public Hall – 17 September\nSt Clement Parish Hall – 24 September\n\n
