SUMMARY:Blue for Ki Walk in memory of Kianne Moy
DESCRIPTION:The Jersey community is being invited to come together on Saturday 11 July 2026 for the Blue for Ki Walk, a special event celebrating the life of Kianne ‘Ki’ Moy while raising funds for two local charities close to her heart.\nThe walk will take place on what would have been Ki’s 25th birthday and will bring together family, friends, colleagues and supporters from across the Island to honour her memory.\nKi was a much loved daughter, sister, friend, colleague and member of the Centrepoint family. Her kindness, laughter, determination and caring nature touched the lives of so many people, and she continues to be deeply missed by all who knew her.\nParticipants will walk approximately six miles from Jardine de la Mer in St Helier to St Aubin and back, wearing blue, purple or other bright colours in celebration of Ki’s vibrant spirit.\nFunds raised from the event will be shared between Centrepoint Jersey and the Jersey Brain Tumour Charity, two organisations that supported and enhanced Ki’s life.\nGraeme Fitchett, Head of Children’s Services and Professional Development at Centrepoint Jersey, said: “Ki was an extraordinary young woman who brought joy, warmth and positivity to everyone around her. This walk is an opportunity for the community to come together, celebrate her life and create something positive in her memory. We hope as many people as possible will join us and help support two charities that meant so much to Ki and her family.”\nSonia Le Clercq, Chair of the Jersey Brain Tumour Charity, said: “We are honoured to be part of this special event. While no words can lessen the loss felt by Ki’s family and friends, we hope the Blue for Ki Walk will be a fitting celebration of her life and a chance for the community to stand together in support of those affected by brain tumours. We are incredibly grateful to everyone involved in organising and supporting the event.”\n
