DESCRIPTION:A screening of the documentary People’s Emergency Briefing will take place at at St. Paul’s Centre in St. Helier at 5.30pm Monday 15th June.\nIt’s a short, non-political documentary film presenting the latest scientific evidence on the climate and nature crisis. It focuses on how environmental breakdown affects daily life, including food security, health, extreme weather and the cost of living, encouraging local community discussions and action. With Chris Packham and appearances by Jennifer Saunders and Deborah Meaden.\nThe event will include a 50-minute film followed by a Q&A and discussion facilitated by former BBC Newsnight and science television producer Dr Jonathan Renouf.\nThe film presents current scientific evidence on the climate and nature crisis, exploring how environmental change is affecting everyday life, including food security, health, extreme weather and the cost of living. It is designed to support informed community discussion and encourage local action.\nThe screening is free to attend and open to all islanders, although it is not recommended for those under 16.\nStates Members, as well as business and community leaders and groups, are particularly encouraged to attend.\n
