SUMMARY:Children and Family Services Information Sessions
DESCRIPTION:The States of Alderney are pleased to welcome representatives from the States of Guernsey’s Children and Family Community Services team, who will be hosting a series of information sessions on the island on Friday 12th & Saturday 13th June.\nThe sessions, taking place on Friday 12th June, are aimed at professionals, States Members and stakeholders, and will provide an overview of the support and services available in Guernsey that can be accessed by the Alderney community.\nThe presentations will be held in the Anne French Room at the Island Hall as two drop-in sessions:\n\n10:30am to 12:30pm\n1:30pm to 3:30pm\n\nThe sessions will include contributions from a range of children’s, family and adult services, outlining their roles, aims and the support they can offer. Attendees will also have the opportunity to ask questions, share feedback, and explore ideas with visiting professionals.\nWhere possible, attendees are encouraged to attend in person, as this provides a better opportunity to meet representatives face-to-face and allows for more open discussion and easier questions and answers during the sessions.\nThe overall aim is to raise awareness of, and improve access to, services available across the Bailiwick, supporting children, families and adults in Alderney.\nThis visit forms part of a wider programme of collaboration between the States of Alderney and the States of Guernsey.\n
