SUMMARY:Film Luso open-air screening to bring Portuguese cinema to St Helier
DESCRIPTION:Project Luso will host a free open-air screening of Portuguese short films at Romerils Car Park on Hue Street on Wednesday 20 May as part of the 13th Parish Film Festival.\nThe event forms part of Film Luso, a wider programme celebrating Portuguese culture, heritage and belonging in Jersey through cinema and community events.\nTwo screenings will take place during the evening, with sessions aimed at young children and families from 5.30pm to 6.50pm, followed by films for older children and families from 7.30pm to 9.10pm.\nAll films will be shown in Portuguese with English subtitles. Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets, brollies and food to share, with Portuguese favourites including cod croquettes and pastel de nata also available.\nFilm Luso is being spearheaded by Sasha Gibb and curated by acclaimed Portuguese film organisation Agência da Curta Metragem.\n
