DESCRIPTION:Castle Cornet will once again come alive with music, entertainment and picnic blankets as KPMG Castle Nights showcases local talent this summer.\nFor almost two decades, Castle Nights has been a much-loved free event, made possible by long-time sponsors KPMG, inviting everyone to relax and enjoy live local music against the stunning backdrop of St Peter Port.\nWith over 5,000 people through the gates last season, this year’s events will take place on four Fridays in July 2026, from 10th to 31st.\nDermot Dempsey, Territory Lead Partner at KPMG in the Crown Dependencies, said: “KPMG is proud to support Castle Nights because it brings our community together through the power of the arts and celebration. Guernsey’s creative talent is extraordinary, and this event gives more than 150 performers a platform to shine. Investing in Castle Nights is our way of celebrating the island’s vibrant cultural life and contributing to an event that belongs to everyone.”\n“There’s something really special about seeing Castle Cornet filled with people enjoying live local music, good food and great company on a summer evening,” added Russ Fossey, Head of Arts Development at Guernsey Arts.\n“As these are my final few months with Guernsey Arts before I retire, I’m especially looking forward to seeing these events, which give local musicians such a fantastic platform, continue to grow.”\nMusic programmes across the four events are organised by Guernsey Arts. Gates will open at 6pm with entry available on a first-come, first-serve basis, and the evening finishes at 9pm.\nHelen Glencross, Head of Heritage Services, said: “We’re delighted to host KPMG Castle Nights. With KPMG’s continued support over the years, islanders can enjoy this unique event in a beautiful historic setting completely free of charge.
