SUMMARY:2026 Standard Chartered Jersey Marathon
DESCRIPTION:The 2026 Standard Chartered Jersey Marathon is open for registration.\nStarting and finishing at Weighbridge Place in St Helier, the international event harnesses the power of sport to unite the island, promote health and wellbeing, and raise essential funds for charity. Over the past 20 years, the Marathon has grown steadily from around 300 runners back in 2006 to more than 2,000 last year – the most ever across the full Marathon, Marathon Relay, Marathon Mile and Relay Half Marathon.\nAn early bird entry fee of £50 is available until 31 January, with discounts on offer to members of affiliated running clubs. Entrants can also access free online training advice and training plans in preparation ahead of the event which this year takes place on Sunday 4 October.\nThe Marathon plays a critical role in raising funds for charity. Participants can raise money for local charities or for Standard Chartered’s nominated good causes.\nHenry Baye, CEO of Standard Chartered Jersey, said: “January is a prime time to embark on a new health and fitness regime and set out on your personal goals, and signing up to the Standard Chartered Jersey Marathon either as an individual or as part of a team offers an excellent way to stay motivated.\n“This is an event we are incredibly proud of, uniting local and visiting runners alike in a truly community – focussed celebration that supports charitable causes close to their hearts. Last year’s 20th anniversary event saw a record number of participants, and we would love to build on that momentum as we look to 2026.”\n
