DESCRIPTION:The race is sold-out for individual runners and 2-person relay teams \nBack with a new name and a new look, The Hospice Half returns on Sunday, 22 March 2026 and is now open for registration.\nLast year’s half marathon was a sell-out with 1,000 runners taking part and more than £60,000 raised for Jersey Hospice Care.\nProfessional services firm, EY, is proudly sponsoring the event for a fourth year.\nCorporate teams signing up for the 4-person relay will be automatically entered into the EY corporate cup. All participants will need to be from the same company, include one female and indicate that they are entering as a corporate team on the registration form.\nThe course starts at the Hospice Shop West in St Ouen then meanders through the picturesque lanes of St Ouen, St Mary and St John before finishing at Jersey Hospice Care on Mont Cochon. Runners and spectators will be greeted by cake and refreshments in the EY Race Village, as they cross the finish line.\nFrancis Malaspina, a Partner at EY in Jersey, said: “We are proud to be continuing our support of Jersey Hospice and sponsoring an event that raises important funds for such a vital charity in our local community. To see the event grow each year and witness runners taking on this personal challenge to raise money is always so humbling and inspiring.”\nFunds raised from the event support the palliative care services provided by Jersey Hospice Care which cost £18,000 per day.\nEvent organiser, Loraine Fulton commented: “The event started as a way to help others achieve their running goals while I was doing my own fundraising for the London Marathon in 2020 and I’m delighted we’re putting it on for a sixth time. We have renamed it ‘The Hospice Half’ from ‘the Hospice 2 Hospice Half Marathon’ to reflect the affection our local running community have for the event. It gets bigger and better every year, with many runners excited to take part each year, but it is also a great route for anyone attempting their first half marathon distance.”\n
