SUMMARY:Jersey Youth Service celebrates 80 years of Youth Work
DESCRIPTION:Jersey Youth Service (JYS) is proud to announce a week of celebrations to mark 80 years of youth work on the island, coinciding with National Youth Work Week from Monday 3 to Sunday 9 November 2025.\nTo kick off the week, JYS will host a special exhibition at the Town Hall on Monday 3 November, showcasing eight decades of youth work through photographs, stories, and memorabilia.\nThe exhibition will highlight the evolution of youth services in Jersey and celebrate the contributions of young people, staff, and volunteers past and present.\nThe exhibition is a collaborative effort, with staff and members of the public contributing memories and photographs to help tell the story of youth work in Jersey. It will remain open to the public throughout the week 11am to 2pm Monday to Friday.\nJYS welcome more photographs and memories from anyone who has been involved with their work over the last 80 years. Items can be dropped off at the JYS reception at St James Centre, St James Street.\n
