SUMMARY:Afternoon Tea in support of Freeda
DESCRIPTION:de Gruchy is inviting islanders to enjoy a classic afternoon tea this week while supporting it’s chosen charity, Freeda.\nTimed to coincide with National Afternoon Tea Week, the promotion runs from Monday 11 August, with guests able to visit either The Brasserie or Infusion Café within the store from 2pm to indulge in a relaxing treat, with £2 from every afternoon tea sold donated directly to Freeda.\nFreeda provides vital support services for women and children and this promotion is part of the store’s ongoing charity partnership activity programme with funds raised helping them continue their important work.\nSimon Youden, Store Director at de Gruchy, said: “Afternoon tea is a timeless and quintessentially English tradition and one that fits beautifully with de Gruchy’s long heritage. Founded in 1810, we’ve always valued tradition and quality and this is a lovely way for our customers to enjoy both while also supporting a very worthy local cause.”\n
