The timeframe is 2025 to 2040 which aligns with the sustainable economic development goals.\nDirector Considerations\nThe following considerations should highlight the importance of cyber resilience as a board level priority and the need to understand this framework.\nRisk & Compliance\n\nCyber threats are growing; Jersey is a high-value target.\nBoards must treat cyber security as a strategic risk.\nRegulatory expectations are increasing.\n\nBusiness Impact\n\nCyber resilience is essential for continuity and trust.\nSupply chain vulnerabilities pose systemic risks.\nDirectors must lead on governance and preparedness.\n\nOpportunity\n\nJersey can become a trusted digital jurisdiction.\nA strong cyber industry can drive growth and innovation.\nPublic-private partnerships are key enablers.\n\nConsultation and next steps\nThe consultation is open until 2 September 2025. The Institute of Directors is encouraging members to engage with this consultation and consider its effect on strategic priorities, support needs, and getting the regulatory balance right.\n
