DESCRIPTION:This Beginner’s French taster session is a free opportunity for people working in hospitality, retail, transport or other areas that engage directly with French customers. The aim is to provide you with some basic French phrases that will help you communicate with visitors and provide an even better customer service.\nThe session will cover key French phrases including greetings, directions, recommending places to visit, numbers and payment, and provide some simple role-play opportunities to try out your new language skills.\nFor those who enjoy the taster session and wish to continue developing their French, information will also be provided for how to enrol in the GTI’s regular French courses for beginners which begin in September.\nThis session is provided for free by VisitGuernsey and The Guernsey Institute.\n
