DESCRIPTION:Visitors to Jersey Zoo will be transformed into the beautiful world of Eric Carle’s The Very Hungry Caterpillar™, as he is brought to life across the site with a brand-new trail.\nHosted from 14 June until 31 August, the family friendly trail will enable visitors to follow the iconic caterpillar, as he munches his way through the natural world. Visitors will get to crawl, climb and capture their way through life-sized depictions of this world-renowned book.\nAs well as large 2-metre-high pop ups, the trail will also feature accompanying QR and augmented reality codes, as well as activities and games to help children with their days of the week, counting and understanding the life cycle of a butterfly.\nCommenting on the trail, Ian Osborne, Director of Commercial at Jersey Zoo commented: “We are really excited to be bringing another trail to Jersey this summer. The Very Hungry Caterpillar™ is such a well-loved book, and this amazing trail is an excellent way for us to connect our visitors to nature in a fun and playful way.
