Any data controller who’s involved in the sharing of personal data should ensure that personal information is collected and shared in a way that’s fair, transparent and in line with the rights and expectations of the people whose information you are sharing.\nLet’s Go DPO is a support network from the JOIC giving Data Protection Officers and those that have responsibility for data protection the chance to network, identify and explore common experiences and engage with our office in a safe and confidential environment.\nThe network’s purpose is to promote compliance and awareness of the Data Protection (Jersey) Law 2018 and demonstrate our office’s commitment to providing support to local Data Protection Officers and those that have responsibility for data protection by offering the opportunity for discussion and to contribute to our office’s development of initiatives and other guidance, where appropriate.\nAll are welcome at this session, which is free of charge.\n
