SUMMARY:Launch celebration of new public artwork ‘Fish Wish – Paîsson d’Pâssion’
DESCRIPTION:ArtHouse Jersey, in partnership with Creative Island Partnership and Jersey Markets, are delighted to be welcoming a new public artwork in the Central Market\nthis Saturday 5 April 2025.\nThe unique ‘Fish Wish – Paîsson d’Pâssion’ installation is the culmination of a Jersey Markets Residency by artists Esther Rose Parkes and Karen Le Roy Harris at Beresford Street Fish Market. The artists transformed the studio into a community space for conversation and workshops.\nTo celebrate this powerful artwork, there will be a special launch celebration on Saturday 5 April between 5.30pm and 7pm at the Central Market fountain. There will be a one-off performance of the choir piece sung by market traders and local community members around the installation.
