SUMMARY:‘Together for Hospice’ fundraising event
DESCRIPTION:Jersey Hospice Care is launching a new and innovative fundraising campaign in March called Together for Hospice.\nWe’re looking to raise £100,000 in just 72 hours and are calling out to the community for your help.\nCheri Strudwick, Director of Income Generation and Marketing said: “The success of ‘Together for Hospice’ relies on us gathering together a team of ‘Hospice Heroes’ who will help us fundraise by reaching out to their network of family, friends, and colleagues – encouraging them to donate during the campaign. The exciting thing about the campaign is that it’s match funded, meaning every pound donated by the community – up to the value of £50,000 – will be doubled by our generous match funders.”\nTogether for Hospice will happen between noon on Friday 7 March and noon on Monday 10 March 2025. Each Hospice Hero will have their own fundraising page set up for them on the campaign website, and over the 72 hours they send the link out to their networks and watch their donations being doubled in anticipation of reaching the £100,000 target!\nCheri added: “We already have some amazing Hospice Heroes who have joined the campaign and, in some cases, have set themselves a challenge to complete over the 72 hours. As well as those who have agreed to share their fundraising page with everyone they know, we’ve got people running marathons, others playing 90 holes of golf, a Hospice charity car wash at Mont Cochon, and much more. I can’t wait to see our island community uniting for 72 hours to ensure  that every moment counts for our patients and their loved ones.”\n
