DESCRIPTION:Get Santa suited and running booted! Santa Dash is back this December and we want you to take part!\nYou don’t need reindeer or a sleigh for this one – just your running shoes! Join your friends, family, or colleagues for Jersey Hospice Care’s annual Santa Dash.\nThe one-mile route around town will set off from Liberty Wharf on Thursday 5 December at 12:00 – after a jingle bell rocking warm up from Mrs Clause.\nMarina Brockbank, Community Engagement Officer, said: “It just doesn’t feel like Christmas until we’ve seen hundreds of Santas running through St Helier! The event is always good fun and gets everyone in good festive spirit. It’s a great way for friends to get together, or colleagues to take a break from their desks, and run, jog or walk for a good cause, knowing the money raised helps us to care for people all year round.”\nThis year’s Santa Dash is kindly sponsored by professional services firm, Ogier. Raulin Amy, Ogier’s Practice Partner in Jersey, said: “We’re thrilled to partner with Jersey Hospice Care in supporting the ever-popular Santa Dash. As the island’s only hospice, Jersey Hospice Care delivers an exceptional service year-round, and is a cause close to our colleagues’ hearts and one that we support through Ogier’s charitable giving. Our colleagues are eagerly anticipating donning their Santa suits this December and jingling all the way to the finish line filled with festive cheer.”\nRegistration is £12.50 per person and is open until 16:00 on Thursday 28 November.\nEveryone who signs up will receive a Santa suit – but any and all Christmas fancy dress is welcome! You can sign up as individuals or in teams. All ‘dashers’ will get a medal as a thank you for supporting such an important ‘clause’!\n
