Organised by its fundraising arm, Friends of Grow (FrOGs), are encouraging people of all ages to trade their everyday shoes for a pair of wellies and contribute a minimum of £2.00 to support Grow’s invaluable work.\n“Imagine the fun of seeing people in wellies everywhere you go! It’s a simple, delightful way to support a fantastic local charity” said Rick James, chair of FrOGs.\n“As part of the day, we are also holding a Best Decorated Wellies Competition and bring out the artist in everyone. Get those creative juices flowing and transform your wellies for a shot at winning a beautifully planted planter from Grow’s workshop and vinery. Just snap a photo of your masterpiece and share it on our Facebook page with the hashtag #WelliesForGrow.”\nThis event is open to everyone – businesses, schools, colleges, pre-schools, and anyone else with a pair of wellies!\n
