SUMMARY:Business summit to plan Alderney’s economic future
DESCRIPTION:Alderney’s Economic Development Committee (EDC) and the Chamber of Commerce are to co-host an engagement event designed to contribute to an Economic Development Strategy.\nAll businesses, whether or not they are Chamber members, are invited to the meeting scheduled for Wednesday May 1st at 2pm in the Island Hall’s Anne French Room.\nBoth Chamber and EDC have already collaborated with the Island’s accommodation sector and now hope to stimulate wider discussion and planning in the business and commerce sector.\nEDC Chair Alex Snowdon said: “This is an opportunity for all on-island businesses to share their perspectives of the current and future health of Alderney’s business economy and to assist in the development of a Strategic Economic Plan.”\nLocal businesses are asked to forward any specific points they wish to raise in advance via email by 24th April.\n
