DESCRIPTION:The Association of Guernsey Charities is hosting a Focus Group to inform a Bailiwick-wide volunteering strategy.\nWe would like to invite you, along with a diverse group of member charities that have a stake in volunteering, to contribute your views & ideas how collaboratively we can:\n\npromote a positive volunteering culture\nincrease & diversify the voluntary workforce\nraise volunteer practice across the sector\n\nThe session will be led by Dan O’ Driscoll, Volunteer Consultant, who specialises in strategic planning and volunteer management.\nWe appreciate participation is quite a time commitment but hope that the session as such will be a useful forum to reflect on your own volunteering practice and share common challenges & possible solutions, whilst also helping to drive forward the development of better volunteering infrastructure.\nLunch will be provided. Please let us know of any dietary requirements.\n
