DESCRIPTION:This concert promises to be an incredible evening of classical music, featuring the world-renowned pianist Jean Efflam Bavouzet and the Jersey Chamber Orchestra.\nA concert of favourites including Mozart’s Double piano concerto and Haydn’s Symphony No 47, the night will be led by Eamonn Dougan the chief conductor of the Jersey Chamber Orchestra. Opening with a stunning piece by Sussmayr – Die Spiegel Von Arkadien – the man who finished Mozart’s Requiem – the Mirror of Arkadius. It is followed by one of the most exquisite pieces of Mozart – his Double Piano Concerto one of his many masterpieces. The soloists are the piano maestro Jean-Efflam and his wife Maria Nemecz – and the interplay between the two will be quite stunning to watch.\nThe second half features the Music in Action choir singing Haydn’s Insanae, Franck’s Panis Angelicus sung by Omara Silvester and Mozart’s Ave Verum Corpus before Haydn’s remarkable Symphony No 98.
