SUMMARY:Family Nursing & Home Care 14th Annual Golf Day to raise vital funds for the charity
DESCRIPTION:Family Nursing & Home Care (FNHC) is a Jersey based charity that helps islanders start well, live well and age well. The charity relies on support from the community to continue to provide their expert prenatal and parental care to children, young people, families and the members of the community who need healthcare or support in their homes.\nSponsored by Grant Thornton, FNHC’s annual Golf Day will be returning for its 14th year on Friday 22nd September at La Moye Golf Club. The event raises vital funds for the charity and whether you are a professional or amateur golfer the Golf Day is the perfect opportunity for a great day out whilst raising money for an important cause.\nThe full day event will open with registration at 07:30 followed by a round of golf with tee-off at 08.30 and lunch around 14:00. The event will close with exciting challenges such as Beat the Pro, Longest Drive and Nearest the Pin followed by a prizes presentation and a raffle.\nFNHC CEO Rosemarie Finley commented: “Our charity work is heavily dependent on the financial support of local entities and islanders which enable us to provide crucial services to the Jersey community. We appreciate all the ways in which islanders support us in fundraising to help us continue to serve the community and we look forward to welcoming teams new and old onto the golf course on 22 September. Our thanks to Grant Thornton and our corporate and individual players for helping to make this event possible”.\n\nThere is still time to enter this year’s event. The entry fee is £850 per team of four which includes all green fees and a delicious lunch on the day. All handicap levels are welcome.\n
