SUMMARY:Closer to Home event: Stay healthy, live longer and be happy
DESCRIPTION:The next Government Closer to Home event is set to take place on Tuesday 11 July, 11am to 2.30pm, at the Royal Square. The event is in collaboration with the Health and Care Partnership Group members and the theme is “stay healthy, live longer and be happy”.\nIslanders are encouraged to attend and socialise over tea, coffee and cake while finding out more about some of the community and charitable organisations that are available in Jersey.\nBeresford Street Kitchen will be offering lunch items such as sausage rolls, sandwiches and drinks to purchase. There will be the opportunity to meet with representatives of these charities, to learn about what they do and the help that they can offer.”\nMalcolm Ferey, the Assistant Minister for Social Security, said: “The Closer to Home event is a fantastic way for charities and organisations that support our community to showcase themselves in one place and demonstrate the positive impact that they make.\n“Having the ability to conduct this event ‘al-fresco’ will add a summer feel to proceedings, and I look forward to engaging with as many people as possible on the day.”\n
