SUMMARY:Family Nursing & Home Care Colour Festival 2023
DESCRIPTION:Family Nursing and Home Care (FNHC) are hosting their annual Colour Festival on 20th May.\nThe annual flagship fundraising event sees participants taking part in a 5km run whilst getting showered with vibrant (environmentally friendly) coloured powdered paint.\nAll money from the Colour Festival funds their Paediatric Palliative Care Worker (PPCW). This role, which provides respite for families with life limiting and life threatening illnesses, allows children to achieve their goals and have the same experiences as others whenever possible. We embrace the emotional, physical and social aspects of the life of a child with additional needs and do our absolute best to enhance and maximise the quality of life for both the child and their family.\nBy taking part in the Colour Festival, participants enabled the terrific work that FNHC does to support Jersey families through respite and hospital visits, providing continuous charitable and emotional support.\nEvent Details:\n\nCheck In & Warm Up: 12:30\nColour Festival starts: 13:00\nColour Festival blast: 14:40\n\nYou can sign up using the blue link on the right (sign up includes t-shirt and two paint pouches, additional paint can be purchased at check out).\nFNHC thanks its sponsors: Appleby, Stonehage Fleming, Jersey Freemasons and Viberts for their continued commitment and support to their cause.\nFNHC CEO Rosemarie Finley commented: “The Family Nursing and Home Care (FNHC) Colour Festival is our flagship fundraising event.
