DESCRIPTION:Dan Johnson, Financial Services Authority explains how having the right qualifications can help directors and their firms to stand out.\nThe first IoM IoD seminar of 2023 will address the importance of qualifications, training and continued development.\nDiscussion will address regulation and give you a clear understanding of local requirements whilst offering an opportunity for dialogue. This is a great ‘develop’ opportunity to help you plan ahead and look at potential learning opportunities.\nCertificates of attendance available on request.\nA light lunch will be available on arrival. Booking for non members will open in early January.\nDan Johnson has worked at the Isle of Man Financial Services Authority (and its predecessor the FSC) for almost 12 years and has been, since 2017, the Senior Manager of the Policy & Authorisations Division.\nIn addition to this role Dan is an evaluator for MONEYVAL and has acted as the financial evaluator of Ukraine in 2017 and Estonia in 2022.\nIoD Isle of Man is kindly supported by Lloyds Bank International.\n
